What separates MSP apart from other tutorial services is that we only focus on personalised lessons with individual feedbacks for our students. We do not believe in a one-size fits all approach in the form of a seminar or a large group class. Our class size ranges from one-to-one to a maximum of five students in GAMSAT classes and three students in interview preparation classes to ensure that we know our students individually in every step of the way.
MSP GAMSAT and Interview courses are taught by doctors who have gone through the arduous selection process themselves, so they understand how difficult this period can be. This personal connection allows our tutors to mentor the students in a way that is not offered by other tutorial services. With insider advice from years of teaching experience, our tutors can offer a a crucial boost in your journey to achieve your dream of pursuing medicine.
Will is our Section I and Section II specialist and is currently a critical care doctor in training. He is also a tutor in Bachelor of Biomedicine subjects at the University of Melbourne. William has helped numerous students with improving essay structures. Most importantly, he has imparted valuable techniques in helping students to generate high quality ideas on their own.
William achieved SI 71 SII 82 S3 68 in GAMSAT March 2015.
"William was able to break down the concepts into small chunks for me. His clear communication and his willingness to help has made GAMSAT preparation a great experience.
I cannot thank you enough for helping me to get into Med. Thanks William!"
Raymond is our Sections II & III and interview specialist mentor and is currently a psychiatrist in training based in Melbourne. He has been tutoring GAMSAT essay writing and sciences for the past 7 years. Raymond is a strong believer that a strong dedication to doing practice questions will allow any students to achieve the results they want.
Raymond's GAMSAT score was SI 68 SII 79 SIII 84.
"Thank you so much Ray for pushing my Section III scores from 50 to 69!! I cannot thank you enough for your patience and support !"
Beryl is an energetic and approcheable mentor with many years of teaching communication and interpersonal skills. She also oversees the day-to-day operations of our team and also runs education counselling and skills workshop to mentor aspiring medical students.
"Beryl is such an easygoing and fun mentor to learn from. She is kind and funny but at the same time highly knowledgeable. Thanks to her I quickly improved my general communication skill and specific interview strategies for medical school and she gave me the best chance to get a spot."
"Signing up for Medschool Pathways was the best decision I made. My section II improved from 57 to 73 and my Section III jumped from 59 to 75! The tutors provided me with detailed feedbacks and I would not be at Melbourne Medical School today without their help. Thank you so much!" If customers can’t find it, it doesn’t exist. "Despite coming from a non-science background, I was able to achieve a phenomenal score of 70 in Section III through Raymond's notes and doing many practise questions provided by him. I would recommend him to anyone seeking Section III tutoring."
"Prior to signing up for MedSchool Pathways, I had no idea on what the GAMSAT and the interview process involved. Yet through Will's mentoring and teaching. "My Section II score improved from 55 to 70 with 6 months of weekly tutoring with MSP. One trouble I always had was coming up with quality ideas and expressing them effectively in my Section II exam. William was able to teach me techniques on generating good ideas, and it is a skill that I can even utilise on many aspects of my life outside of GAMSAT."
"As someone who is relatively introverted. The interview process was quite daunting for me. Fortunately for MSP, they broke down strategies into manageable tiny steps, and I am now proud to say I am a medical student at Deakin University!"
"For someone who speaks English as a second language, Section I seemed like a great hurdle for me. But with your help, my Section I score improved 53 to 68! Thanks for dissecting and analysing the comprehension section for me and encouraging me throughout this stressful period!"
